Everyone knows the Print Screen function on Windows – it helps you take screenshots of your Windows screen. You simply press the Prt Scr button and Paste the screen shot onto Paint or a Word Processing program. Regardless of whether you wanted just your Chrome browser window or not, you’d always just get the full screenshot. To just get the Chrome window, you had to crop the area around, make a new Paint document and paste the cropped image.

Well there’s a hidden function in Windows to make it take a screenshot of just the selected window!

The hidden combination is :  [ALT] + [Print Screen]

After selecting your window and pressing alt-prt scr, Windows will grab the contents from the selected window only. No more cropping!
