iPad 3 Home Buttons 9-to-5-Mac

What you’re seeing are comparison photos of the iPad 2 and iPad 3 that 9 to 5 Mac posted. The differences between the two do not seem significant; however you could notice some minor differences, such as the bezel on the back side of the home buttons.

The rear end of the home button seems to have been tidied up, probably to adapt the new design to compensate for the (rumored) increased thickness for the upcoming update to the iPad family. The primary reason for the increased thickness is rumored to be due to the retina display that would enable the iPad 3 to have up to 4 times the resolution than its current resolution at 2048 x 1536.

The fact that we’re seeing leaked parts photos for the iPad 3 very well may confirm rumors expecting the launch to take place early 2012.

We’ll keep you posted on the latest.
