More sources seem to be pointing to Wednesday, March 7, 2012 to be the date that Apple is currently planning on holding their Apple iPad 3 announcement. As noted previously, rumors are still standing strong that the iPad 3 will feature the following:
- Quad-Core Apple A6 chip
- 2048×1536 ‘Retina Display’
- Better camera (5 or 8 mega-pixels)
- 4G LTE capable
March 7 certainly fits the forecast previously by AllThingsD where they noted that the ‘event’ will be held on the first week of March.

Please note that these are rumors and will continue to be, until Apple makes an official statement with regards to the iPad 3. However with more sources being cited claiming the rumors statement above, if anything, the iPad 3 does seem to be waiting for us just around the corner.
